the Martonmere Cup scheduled for tonight being pushed back to Thursday.

The Charity Cup became the first match of the new season to be hit by the weather -- postponed on Saturday night -- but the match will be now played tonight at PHC Stadium (8.00) between league champs Boulevard and FA Cup winners Vasco.

Vasco will have a busy start to the season with further games on Thursday in the first round of the Martonmere Cup at Devonshire Rec. against North Village and then on Sunday when they open their league campaign against Southampton Rangers.

The BFA confirmed yesterday that of the four players whose clubs have objected to their release, only Steven Arorash of Somerset will be able to play for his new club, Vasco. The Trojans did not send in an appeal letter to try to stop Arorash's move to Vasco so he is clear to make his debut for Vasco tonight.

Three Devonshire Colts players wishing to move to new clubs will not be able to do so just yet as Colts' appeal is yet to be heard. They are Antoine Lightbourne, Derek Wright and Leonard Hypolite, who were moving to Dandy Town, St. George's and Boulevard respectively.
