after one of its editors was charged with drug possession at the Airport.

Last month Ms Donna Ferrari of Bride's magazine had five valium tablets seized and was charged with having a controlled drug. She was visiting for a magazine staff sales meeting.

The charge was later dismissed in Magistrates' Court after she produced a prescription. Tourism Minister the Hon. C.V. (Jim) Woolridge apologised and offered a free return visit.

In the latest issue of the wedding magazine, freelance writer Mr. Andrew Nelson praises Bermuda as a honeymoon island and recommends a selection of moped trips.

"For once the travel posters don't lie,'' he says. "Bermuda is pure gorgeousness -- English hedgerows, country cottages, rain-forest flowers, and Candy Land colors.

"The canary yellows, cobalt blues, and ever-present pinks make this self-governing British colony wildly romantic, like "Howards End'' on laughing gas.'' A Bride's spokeswoman said the magazine was prepared a long time in advance of publication. The feature had been written long before Ms Ferrari's experience.

After Mr. Woolridge's apology the magazine said staff had no hard feelings about the incident.
