injuries has come forward to help Police with their investigation of the accident.

The woman, who was taken to hospital with a broken leg, nose, wrist and shoulder, said a blue car collided with her moped at 4 a.m. on October 30, leaving her lying semi-conscious in the road. The driver of the car paused briefly to apologise before leaving the scene, she said.

The collision took place on South Road in Paget between Harmony Hall and the Paget traffic lights.

Days after the accident the woman recalled the details of the accident from her hospital bed.

Inspector Roseanda Jones said the accident would not be treated as a hit and run because the man stopped at the scene even though he did not leave his name or address.

Police would be investigating the matter further, she said.
