Pedestrian Maxwell Scott suffered head injuries when he was in collision with a moped.

The incident occurred at the junction of Par-la-Ville Road and Church Street on June 8 this year.

Mr. Scott, also suffered a broken thigh and shoulder and was taken to the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward V11 Memorial Hospital.

He was later transferred to a general ward.

A hospital spokesman said the Southampton resident was in a satisfactory condition.

The moped rider involved in the accident, Beverly "Jordy'' Walker, suffered concussion.

He also suffered a broken shoulder and rib. He was treated at hospital but later released.
