Police attended an accident in Paget on Tuesday where a 70-year-old man lost control of his car and it overturned.

The collision happened on Knapton Hill, Smith's around 2.15 p.m.

It appears the driver, a Paget man was travelling west on Knapton Hill, lost control of the car, mounted an embankment and overturned.

Both lanes of traffic were blocked. blocking both lanes of traffic. The man was cut on his head and elbow and was taken to hospital. The car was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
