Breaking News: Man claims jealous husband chopped him with knife
A man in a “romantic relationship” with a married woman claims he suffered serious injuries when her husband chopped him with a knife.
Gregory Campbell, 31, was in bed with Ceblle Dawson when her estranged husband, Thisley Dawson — nicknamed Thunder — turned up at her Sandys home.
According to Mr. Campbell, Dawson attacked him with a knife “almost twelve inches long,” leaving him with wounds to his head, arm and hand.
Dawson, 42, is now on trial at Supreme Court accused of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm over the attack on the night of May 25, 2009.
He denies the charge.
Mr. Campbell, a Jamaican currently living in Pembroke, took the witness stand yesterday to describe his version of events.
However, the defence claim Dawson, from Hamilton Parish, was attacked by Mr. Campbell first.
