Butterfield shares rise 0.7%

Shares of Butterfield Bank rose 25 cents, or 0.7 per cent, to $38.25 after 200 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank's shares were up seven cents, or 0.18 per cent, at $38.87.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 13.41 points, or 0.52 per cent, at 2,606.65, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 6.22 points, or 0.35 per cent, at 1,797.54.
