New and familiar callers to grace cruise ship scene
underway.
And Bermuda will see some new vessels amongst the familiar callers, between April and November.
The publication of the cruise calendar comes as it was revealed that two cruise lines are vying for the weekend spot next year.
Tourism Minister David Allen revealed that the search for the right company had almost been finalised -- and it could be that the West End of the Island will be the beneficiary.
Mr. Allen returned from a visit to the southern United States in the last few days, where he and West End Development Co chief officer George Smith looked at cruise companies.
He said Mr. Smith accompanied him in his role as a member of the Tourism Board.
The new ship, which will come into service next season, will be compatible with Bermuda, he added.
