CROWN COUNSEL THROWS IN HIS WIG CTS Crown Counsel throws in his wig Former Crown Counsel Patrick Doherty began a new job at law firm Francis and Forrest yesterday after changing plans to leave the Island last month after leaving the Department of Public Prosecutions.

Mr. Doherty said: "I was going to leave for personal reasons as we had planned to go back to Vancouver.

"As far as criminal law went I had been there and done that, worked on murder cases and so it's not novel anymore.'' "I was thinking about exploring a different legal avenue such as commercial litigation and personal injury.
