The man has been unconscious since around 4 a.m. yesterday when the livery cycle he was riding collided with a taxi on Middle Road in Paget.
He was believed to have been travelling west when his cycle crossed the line and collided with the taxi near Fourways Inn Restaurant.
He was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with serious internal injuries, including broken legs and wrists.
Cambridge Beaches general manager Michael Winfield could not be reached for comment. But the employee was believed to have been taken out of Bermuda by an air ambulance yesterday evening.
There was no word on the condition of the taxi driver, but both vehicles were extensively damaged.
