A 24-year-old was treated in hospital after he was attacked by a man with “a bladed article” in broad daylight.

The assault happened around 10am in the Camp Road, Warwick area on Saturday, a Police spokesman said.

“It appears that a 24-year-old Southampton man was assaulted by another male brandishing a bladed article. The victim was transported by private vehicle to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries and later discharged,” the spokesman added.
