Two elderly passengers in a taxi — a 100-year-old man and an 88-year-old woman — were treated at the scene after a crash between a taxi and a car on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish near the MarketPlace supermarket this afternoon.

According to a police spokesman, the pair were declared “fine” by paramedics, although a three-year-old in the car was taken to hospital for injuries that were not considered serious.
