At about 9:15 a.m. we all arrived at the dock in St. George's. As soon as we got there the boat was getting tied up at the dock. Miss Furbert told us to line up behind Estina and count off. Unfortunately, one of our class mates was left behind.

We got on the boat and in about five to 10 minutes, we were there. I loved the smell of the salty water and the breeze blowing against my face.

Out class had to walk about two or three minutes until we found our destination, the place we had to eat lunch and change our clothes.

At the cabin we met P.c. Steve, Mark, and of course, we all knew P.c.John. Our group had the opportunity to go canoeing first. It was great. I was in a canoe with Sade and Nadia. At first it was pretty hard but after a while we got use to it.

After a while I transferred to a canoe with Karen and Claire. It was OK I guess. Karen, Claire and I went through this little lagoon that had a lot of big rocks. We also went into this swamp that had oil and I saw this huge jelly fish that looked like a Portuguese Man-of-War. After seeing that Dawayne threw the ball and my whole group tried to get it. We tipped over and I fell out.
