A tourist had cash and personal items stolen from a locked compartment on his rental cycle this week.

According to Police, the man was at Jobson's Cove in Warwick when the thief attacked on Wednesday.

"The culprit stole a wallet containing a quantity of cash and personal items before making good his escape on a red scooter," said a spokesperson. "The suspect is described as a male wearing a black helmet, a red shirt and blue jeans."
