Aspen Insurance Ltd. said yesterday it has established an excess casualty unit in Bermuda, in addition to its existing excess casualty unit in Dublin, Ireland. The Hamilton office will provide excess coverage for catastrophic casualty risks on a global basis, and will be led by Timothy Proctor, who has been appointed senior casualty underwriter at Aspen. Previously, Mr. Proctor was a vice-president at Ace Bermuda Insurance Co.
