Harleys to ride again tomorrow
The Bermuda Long Riders Motorcycle Club will hold its last Harley Davidson ride on Saturday — riding bikes that will arrive by ship.
The ride will start in Dockyard and visit St George’s before returning to Dockyard. There will be multiple stops, including a meeting with St George’s Mayor Garth Rothwell.
A total of 23 bikes will be brought onto the island from the MS Explorer of the Seas cruise ship.
“While we have many locals who enjoy seeing the bikes ride through, we ask the public to please help us to enjoy a safe ride by not cutting into the ride, and allowing the escort to ride through,” said Stephanie Robinson, of the club.
“Please do not try to join in the ride with the Harleys as this can become dangerous as this is their first time driving on our roadways.”
The club is a charity for promoting bike safety and has been hosting Harley Davidson rides for eight years, bringing in over 100 bikes. The club hosts them on behalf of the company Entertainment & Bike Cruises.
