A quiet trading day on the Bermuda Stock Exchange saw only two issues traded, no advancers and one decliner.

Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd closed down a penny, or 0.5 percent, at $1.99 on a volume of 17,312.

And Ascendant Group closed unchanged at $7.43 on a volume of 1800.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 4.72 points, or 0.33 percent, to close on 1,414.95. Volume was 19,112 shares and turnover was $47,888.88.
