Shadow Health Minister Zane DeSilva has commended the new Chief Medical Officer Cheryl Peek-Ball on her appointment.As the former Minister, Mr DeSilva recalled working with Dr Peek-Ball following her appointment to Acting CMO on January 1, 2012.“Her appointment to the position of Chief Medical Officer is thoroughly deserved and Dr Peek-Ball is another example of a Bermudian who has worked diligently to succeed at their chosen profession and whose commitment to Bermuda will no doubt benefit the community at large,” Mr DeSilva said.
