The story of a Canadian family who caused a flight to be diverted to Bermuda after causing a ruckus on the plane has gone viral.The Royal Gazette reported earlier this week how David McNeil Sr, 54, his wife Donna McNeil, 52, and their son McNeil Jr, 22, from Mabou, Nova Scotia were fined at Magistrates’ Court over the incident.Sunwing flight 454 from Halifax to the Dominican Republic landed in Bermuda on Friday evening after reports of a disruption involving the three passengers. They are now facing the prospect of being sued by the airline.A news report on Canada’s CTV news website said the story has hit the headlines in Canada and the USA, and has “gone viral” on social networking sites.
