A memorial service for fallen police officers will be held on Friday, October 26.The event was postponed during Police Week earlier this month due to inclement weather.It will take place in the Military Cemetery off Alexandra Road in Devonshire.A police spokesman said: “Each year, a memorial ceremony organised in conjunction with the Bermuda Ex-Police Association is held as part of Police Week to commemorate those who lost their lives whilst serving the Bermuda Police Service as police officers, reserve officers and support staff — in particular since the year 2000, as well as retired officers and staff that have passed during the previous year.”
