BSX edges lower
Falls in the stock price of two insurers and the owner of electricity company Belco sent the Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange Index lower last week.Argus Group Holdings Ltd suffered the largest fall of the three, sliding five cents, or 1.4 percent, to close the week on a 52-week low of $3.40, as 400 shares changed hands.Fellow insurer BF&M Ltd experienced a more modest decline, falling five cents, or 0.3 percent, to close on $15.95 as 1,800 of its shares were traded.Ascendant Group Ltd was the most actively traded domestic board stock on the BSX last week, with 22,000 shares trading. The energy group slipped ten cents, or 0.8 percent, to close the week on $12.15.The Index fell 2.12 points, or 0.19 percent during the five days of trading, to reach 1,066.77 at Friday’s close. Volume topped 27,000 shares, while turnover was more than $305,000.
