Butterfield Bank rose 7.75 percent (nine cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.The bank traded 59,112 shares to close at $1.25.The index, as a whole, closed up 42.55 points (4.03 percent) at 1,102.34 with 59,112 shares worth $73,887.25 changing hands.The BSX Insurance Index also advanced two points (0.2 percent) to 1,008.
