Butterfield Bank’s preference shares rose 0.2 percent ($3) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.The bank traded 56 shares to close at $1,235.BF&M Ltd also saw 1,000 shares change hands as its share price climbed 1.7 percent (25 cents) to $15.The Ascendant Group Ltd also transacted 60 shares, however its share value remained unmoved at $13.25.Overall the Index was up 1.73 points (0.16 percent) at 1,083.7 with 1,060 shares worth BD$15,770 and 56 shares worth US$70,138 traded.The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, dipped 11 points (1.09 percent) to 994.
