Reggie Lambe impresses Gillingham boss
Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler is keen to have another look at trialist Reggie Lambe who has impressed during pre-season.Lambe, who was released by Championship side Ipswich Town at the end of last term, caught the eye during the Gills' recent draws against Millwall and non-league Braintree. Tonight he played 45 minutes against Leyton Orient, once again giving a good account of himself.Hessenthaler said: (Reggie) looked bright when he came on (against Millwall),” said Hessenthaler. “It's not easy to come on and make an impact but what he did he did well.“He is very technically correct and he has a bit of pace about him. We may well have another look at him.”So far this pre-season, the 20-year-old has been on trial at Bristol Rovers, Newport County, Southend and now League Two side Gillingham.
