Youngsters' behaviour

April 23, 2011Dear Sir,We are at the end of our third visit to Bermuda. As usual it's been a good holiday. You are fortunate in having such a beautiful group of islands, lifestyle and weather. Life seems good, at least on the surface. One area of worry though (as an outsider observing inwards): bored youngsters.Bigger groups travelling around together. A little more intimidating than on previous visits.Yesterday on the bus (No 11 from the kite-flying at Horseshoe Bay to Hamilton) three boys refused to pay the driver their fare. They travelled free while everyone else obviously paid. This is not good.I don't know of a solution apart from getting the police involved, but it leaves a message with tourists, which itself is not good. These youngsters will presumably next try an upgraded version of yesterday's prank. If as you say, you want the tourists, in my opinion, this is where you start.BARRY OLLIFFPennsylvania
