On May 24, Whitney Institute wowed crowds at the annual Heritage Day Parade with a spectacular display of precision and technique.

Under the direction of music teacher Sammy DeGraff and dance coordinators Joshua Polk and Oneka Trott, Whitney Spirit Dancers and Drumline showed their talent.

Dressed in the school colours of green and gold, the students jived and strutted their way into the hearts of the crowd. Spectators were heard to comment that they looked like one of the visiting groups.
