Violence. Drugs. Alcohol

All three can bring death — death to your family, friends, any one close to you.

Why not stop it?

It seems like almost every day someone dies, not from old age, but from violence.

Because of drugs, innocent people die. How can we as the community help rid ourselves of the problem of drugs and violence? It appears that drugs and violence go hand and hand.

Why not stop it before someone you know dies.

As part of the community, are you tired of hearing that someone died because of drugs or that someone got in a fight because they were drunk? I know I am.

You see the police are trying to help us, but they are working alone to stop the violence and we are using them as an excuse when things go wrong.

It's not the fault of the police; it's the code of silence. We, the community can step up to assist.

You know you could help the police in many different ways like breaking that code of silence. Think about it. If you help the police, you could save someone's life instead of losing them.

People love to consume alcohol and drugs and may not know how to stop or ask for help. You can help someone if they are close to you like a friend or family member.

Alcohol should only be used for celebrations, but many people abuse it and get hurt doing it or hurt others. It can even lead to death.

I know that it will be hard to stop the drugs and alcohol and violence.

Everyone knows that, but if we try really hard, we can do it. If we stop it, we can build a better community for the young ones and for ourselves to live in.

If you think it is cool doing drugs and alcohol, well, it's not. If you think the violence will stop on its own, it won't.

People think drugs and alcohol are cool but they don't really understand what cool is. That's what the problem is. You see drugs bring violence and death, just as alcohol does.

Why don't we all stand up for what is right for the community and for us. We are not alone. We can do it together.
