BF&M Ltd. saw its share price drop 6.02 percent (90 cents) to $14.05 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The insurer traded 1,500 shares during the day.

Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. also transacted 1,000 shares to fall 2.94 percent (25 cents) to $8.25.

Meanwhile Butterfield Bank saw 11,000 common shares worth $1.45 and 10 preference shares worth $200 change hands, but their share prices held firm.

The Index, as a whole, dropped 11.57 points (0.81 percent) to 1,421.88, as 13,500 shares worth BD$45,275 and 10 shares worth US$12,394.44 were traded.

The BSX Insurance Index dipped 1.88 points (0.18 percent) to 989.93.
