Butterfield Bank's common shares continued to drop, this time by 2.85 percent (five cents) to $1.70 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The bank traded 700 shares during the day.

Overall, the Index was down 16.14 points (1.05 percent) at 1,521.99, with 700 shares worth BD$1,215 and 2,540 shares worth US$25,694.75.

The BSX Insurance Index slipped 1.99 points (0.2 percent) to 986.04.
