Butterfield Bank's common shares continued their up and down week, dropping 12.5 percent (25 cents) to $1.75 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The bank traded 27,782 shares during the day.

KeyTech Ltd. also fell 2.35 percent (20 cents) to $8.30, with 5,300 shares changing hands.

The only other trader was BF&M Ltd., which transacted 100 shares, but its share price held firm at $14.

The Index, as a whole, slipped 84.53 points (5.24 percent) to 1,529.49, as 33,182 shares worth $95,129 changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index dipped 4.34 points (0.44 percent) to 979.91.
