Butterfield Bank's common shares rose five cents (1.01 percent) to $5 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The bank traded 15,000 common shares during the day.

But KeyTech Ltd. dropped five cents (0.55 percent) to $9, with 5,600 shares traded.

The Index, as a whole, was up 7.44 points (0.31 percent) at 2,375.37, as 20,600 shares worth $125,530 changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, fell 1.29 points (0.13 percent) to 972.88.
