Butterfield Bank was the only trader on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank traded 44,174 shares, but its price held firm at $5.50.

Overall, the Index opened and closed at 2,366.71, with 44,174 shares worth $242,957 changing hands.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, was up 14.91 points (1.85 percent) at 817.62.
