Belco Holdings Ltd. boosted its share price by the tune of $2 (12.5 percent) to close at $18 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) Index yesterday.

The utilities company traded 100 shares.

Butterfield Bank, meanwhile, dropped 15 cents (1.25 percent) to finish on $11.80, with 40,400 shares changing hands.

Overall the Index was up 10.33 points (0.27 percent) at 3,810.48, as 40,500 shares worth $480,600 were transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index edged up 0.36 percent to 691.7.
