Taxi driver is robbed by three men with a knife
A taxi driver was robbed by three passengers who demanded money while pulling out a knife.
Police received the report at 4.35 a.m. on Monday.
The driver said he was taking the men to the Cedar Park Road, Devonshire area, but as the taxi neared the destination, one of the passengers demanded the driver pull over.
One of the men pulled out a knife while another stole cash from the driver before they all ran away.
The taxi driver, a 55-year-old Hamilton Parish man, was not injured and described the suspects as three dark skinned young men believed to be 18 to 20-years-old, approximately 5ft 10ins to 6ft, wearing jeans, T-shirts and sweat tops.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.
