Motorcyclist arrested after crash

A 47-year-old St. George's man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after crashing his motorcycle and sustaining "serious facial injuries".
Around 11.45 p.m. Thursday, Police and emergency medical technicians attended a road traffic accident on North Shore Road in Devonshire near the junction with Barkers Hill. According to Police, details of the cause of the crash are unclear however a St. George's man was taken via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The man was later arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired. Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash or anyone with any information to contact PC Preston Gill on 295-0011.
