New plans for Serpentine Road apartments

Plans have been resubmitted for an apartment complex and commercial premises at 44 Serpentine Road.
The Development Applications Board (DAB) refused the original Planning application because the development was higher than two storeys.
The building would have reached three floors and extended ten feet from the lot line, contrary to the Bermuda Plan which stipulated a maximum height of two storeys.
Developers Paragon Trust reduced the scale of the building from five residential units to four, scaling back the height to two storeys. They appealed the DAB decision and this was upheld, enabling the amended plans to be submitted.
