Lambe in frame for his first team debut
Ipswich manager Roy Keane wants to blood some of his youngsters when his team host Coventry City in their final match of the Championship season.
Reserve team players Dean Bowditch and Connor Wickman are the most likely the feature but Bermuda international Reggie Lambe has an oustside chance after his outstanding campaign with the Tractor Boys.
Lambe (pictured, right) has been offered a professional contract by the club who he joined as scholar two years ago.
Keane said: "Things have been taking more shape this week and there might be one or two of the younger players given a chance against Coventry."
The East Anglian club are in ninth position in the League Championship and are out of the running for the promotion play-offs.
Keane has already made it clear that there will be wholesale changes to the Ipswich squad in the summer, and is likely to use the final game to run the rule over some of the fringe players.
Lambe has consistently impressed at both youth and reserve levels with the club and still expects to sign a deal despite the change in management.
