What is your job?

To manage the finances and finance-related risks for the Bank of Bermuda group of companies.

What is your favourite part of the job?

Working with a great team of people from 15 different countries. Each day has new challenges and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

What is your least favourite part of the job?

Long hours and tight reporting deadlines, especially in January and July. That just comes with the role here and anywhere else in the world.

What is your most interesting experience at work? The Bank sent me to London HSBC Group headquarters for five months this year to work with colleagues from 83 other countries in five different finance areas. This gave me a lot of perspective on the global banking and financial services industry and I now have a lot of new colleagues and friends everywhere.

What would you be doing otherwise?

Bio-chemical engineer or lion tamer - I studied bio-chemistry at school and lion tamer just sounds so exciting to any accountant!
