What is your job? My job is to service Capital G high net worth clients and ensure their financial needs are met. The benefit to the client is our focus on the client-manager relationship. I maintain a portfolio of accounts for each client that includes savings, fixed deposits, loans, trusts and investments. I am in constant contact with clients and as the need arises. I will advise them about the Capital G products that are beneficial to their financial goals. These could be trust, insurance, mutual fund investments or savings and deposits. I guide them through the process and ensure the transition is smooth.
What is your favourite part of the job? The relationship building with clients is definitely my favourite part of the job. The more I get to know a client, the better understanding I gain of their changing financial needs. I really enjoy advising clients about the best way to invest their money.
What is your least favourite part of the job? There's nothing about this job that I don't enjoy. I work with committed team members in Private Banking, and I am supported by various Capital G Bank business unit teams. We focus on the timely delivery of services and I love when we synchronise to provide the best for our clients.
What is your most interesting experience at work? One time in a client meeting, the client became so excited about having laid a solid financial path and gained control of his life that he fell to his knees in and started to pray in my office. I prayed with him!
What would you be doing otherwise? Running my own retail business offering youth athletic sportswear. This is one of my future goals.
