According to Meyer Agencies the Island had more than 7,000 cruise ship visitors for the week of October 6.

The Explorer of the Seas, which arrived from New Jersey on Monday morning, carried 3,291 passengers.

She was docked at Kings Wharf and departed yesterday afternoon.

The Norwegian Dream, docked at Pennos Wharf, arrived yesterday afternoon from Boston, carrying 1,730 passengers. She will depart on Friday at noon.

Carrying 2,177 passengers from New York, the Norwegian Dawn arrived this morning and will depart from Kings Wharf on Friday afternoon.

Cement was discharged at the silos in Dockyard, from the Cemenmar Tres, which arrived from Tampa yesterday morning and which is due to leave tomorrow.

The Somers Isles cargo ship arrived yesterday from Fernandina Beach, Florida.

She discharged 193 containers including five reefers, two boats and a JCB Skidster. The vessel leaves the Island to return to Fernandina Beach tomorrow morning.

Arriving on Thursday from Salem, NJ, the Bermuda Islander will discharge 135 containers in addition to two 45 foot Flatracks with rebar. She will leave for Salem on Friday at 8.05 a.m.

Carrying 145 dry containers and 53 refrigerated containers the Oleander arrived on Sunday.

Miscellaneous cargo on the ship included, a satellite truck, a tank trailer, seven road trailers and nine cars. The ship left the Island yesterday morning.
