Financials weigh

The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) Index fell more than three percent as financials weighed on the market.
In a trading week shortened to four days by the Good Friday holiday, Butterfield Bank was the most heavily traded issue, with 159,325 shares changing hands.
Butterfield slipped 10 cents, or 6.4 percent, to close the week on $1.45. The bank holds its annual general meeting of shareholders on Thursday.
Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. also took a tumble, falling 25 cents, or 2.9 percent, to close on $8.25.
Insurer and investment company BF&M Ltd. was the third issuer to fall, shedding 90 cents, or six percent, to close the week on $14.05.
The Index closed Thursday down 43.84 points, or 3.1 percent, for the week at 1,421.88.
