BSX climbs 11.5%

Butterfield Bank surged 33.3 percent to push The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index to its highest level since March.
The bank rose 50 cents to $2, on the trading of 36,191 shares.
Because of its heavy weighting on the BSX, the bank's huge jump was enough to help the Index climb by 11.5 percent, or 156.69 points, to 1,520.26.
Broker-dealer LOM Holdings Ltd. fell 9.6 percent, or 35 cents, to $3.30, as 8,500 shares were exchanged.
KeyTech Ltd.was the only other stock to trade, remaining on $7.80, as 8,500 shares changed hands.
Volume on the BSX was 46,191 shares and turnover was nearly $110,000.
