Butterfield up 7%

Local stocks maintained their positive momentum of the past week yesterday led by Butterfield Bank.
Butterfield gained 10 cents, or 7.1 percent to close on $1.50, as 9,000 shares changed hands.
Those who took part in the bank's rights issue, buying shares for $1.21 apiece, have already seen those investments gain 25 percent.
KeyTech Ltd. also saw trading activity, with 8,000 shares changing hands. But the stock price remained unchanged on $7.80.
The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 31.94 points, or 2.4 percent, to close on 1,363.57.
Volume was 17,010 shares, while turnover was $76,050.
