BCB and BNTB slip

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange dropped 25.33 points yesterday with declines in the banking, insurance and utilities sectors.
The BSX closed at 3,787.64, a 0.66 percent decline.
Bermuda Commercial Bank shares were hardest hit on the day with a 2.7 percent slip ($0.25) to close at $9 after 2,000 shares traded. Butterfield Bank shares also fell, closing at $11.80, down $0.10 or 0.84 percent with 18,100 shares active.
Belco shares dropped another $0.25 yesterday, closing at $16.75 after 400 were traded. Both Belco and Butterfield Bank hit new 52-week lows.
And BF&M shares also fell yesterday, dropping 0.26 percent ($0.05) to close at $18.95 after 2,000 changed hands.
The Bermuda Insurance Index closed down 5.49 points at 846.81.
