A car and motorcycle crashed into each other near Somersfield Academy on Friday.

Around 10.15 p.m. Police attended the road traffic collision on Middle Road in Devonshire.

It appears that the motorcycle was travelling east on Middle Road and the car was travelling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 17-year-old male from Pembroke and his passenger a 17-year-old girl from St. George's, were taken to hospital for facial injuries and an injury to the right leg respectively.

The driver of the car was not injured.
