A social inquiry report was yesterday ordered for a 17-year-old youth who sexually assaulted a woman while she was riding a pedal bike.

Allan K. Hypolite of St. John's Hill, Pembroke, pleaded guilty to the charge in Magistrates' Court.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Rex Osborne told the court that on March 29 at 10.15 a.m. a woman was riding her pedal bike along North Shore Road.

"When she reached Black Watch Pass, Hypolite rode up behind her, reached out, squeezed her bottom, and rode off,'' Sgt. Osborne said.

"The woman took note of the licence and reported the incident to Police.'' Sgt. Osborne added that when asked by Police why he did what he did, Hypolite gave no reason.

He told the court that Hypolite had two previous charges for similar assaults.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis bailed Hypolite in the sum of $500 with a like surety until the reading of a social inquiry report on May 10.
