First a guest reported that he woke up to find his wallet emptied of all its cash after going to sleep with his sliding glass door open.

He said he opened it and closed the screen before he and his wife went to bed on Sunday night as the room felt sticky.

The guest found after checking his room further that other cash and personal items were missing also.

Another visiting couple reported that someone entered their room through an insecure door and stole a gold money clip and some cash from their room.

Police investigations are continuing with the assistance of the hotel's security officer.
