Band today at noon at City Hall.

This is one of three concerts the band will play during their brief stay in Bermuda.

They will also perform at Warwick Camp on Friday at 8.30 p.m. and at City Hall ampitheatre on Sunday at 7.30 p.m.

The visit is part of an exchange programme with the Bermuda Regiment, who travelled to Danbury, Connecticut in October to perform at various concerts.

This is the third time the Danbury Brass Band has been hosted by the Bermuda Regiment.

As part of their programme, they will perform "On Warwick's Shores'' and "Somers' Heart,'' which were pieces composed specifically for the Bermuda Regiment's visit to Danbury in October.

The band, which has been in existence for 14 years, is a non-profit organisation which relies on private and corporate donations for its funding.

They have played all over their home state and have competed in the North American Brass Band Association competition in New Jersey.

The band's music director, Alan Raph, has performed trombone solos with the Bermuda Regiment Band under both Ken and Barrett Dill and with the Somerset Brigade Band under Jimmy Tucker.
