The bartender at the club told Police the premises had been entered overnight on Sunday.

She said she locked up the club around 8.30 p.m. But around 8 a.m. the next day, the groundkeeper found the door to the storeroom at the rear of the building open.

An undisclosed amount of change was removed from an open cash register.

That same morning, a Warwick woman reported that her residence on Belmont Road was broken into for the second time this week.

The 40-year-old woman said she locked her house around 10 a.m. on Monday. But when she returned nearly two hours later, she discovered that someone had broken into the house.

One of the windows had been smashed and a cherry wooden wall-hanging grandfather clock, valued at $300, was missing.
