Puisne Judge the Hon. Mrs. Justice Wade said the plea conflicted with the man's statement to a probation officer.

And she suggested the matter should go to trial instead.

Mrs. Justice Wade said she would "vacate'' the plea, and adjourn the case until August 2 for mention. The man's bail was extended.
